Consider donating to the LAPD surveillance equipment program that I created. This is a non-profit organization where 100% of all money donated go to support the Los Angeles Police Department. We have more then 50 million children age 12 and under in the United States. This is the largest population of youth we have ever seen in the history of this country. Over the last 20 years unfortunately, with this increase came a consistent rise in gang population. The escalation in crime that youve been reading about in the newspapers is just the beginning of a long, consistent pattern that we will be experiencing year-after-year if something is not done. Keep in mind that we have been seeing second, third and sometimes forth generation gang members.

Needless to say, the Los Angeles Police department needs your support. The LAPD needs to be modernized with the type of equipment that will aid them in apprehending criminals in real time, while capturing these crimes on film for easier, efficient prosecution. The technologies do exist, but the money for funding has not.

That's why I proposed this idea to you, to raise the necessary capital to fund this valuable program from monies raised through our community. Many of you know, we cannot always wait for our elected officials to place the quality of our lives on the top of their agendas, but we could do it ourselves by making it a priority.
